Violist and composer Lev “Ljova” Zhurbin has shared his productivity tips for working effectively with Sibelius on a laptop computer on his blog. He says,
I’ve been using Sibelius on a laptop for several years, and have just recently figured out a really comfortable mobile setup, which makes my relationship with Sibelius a lot more productive, at a cumulative cost of approximately $35.
What mythical items does Ljova say you should buy for the princely sum of $35 to transform your work with Sibelius? Read on to find out.

Let’s not forget that there are plenty of slightly larger laptop computers that DO have a numeric keypad. If Sibelius is going to be one of your main applications it makes sense to choose one.
