On the eve of this year’s BETT show, education technology journalist Hugh John has written a piece about the development of Sibelius 6, based on an interview I gave last year at the time of the product’s launch. Although it’s taken a while to appear, it’s timely that it appears today, with Sibelius 6 about to be demonstrated at the UK’s biggest education technology show.
Hugh says:
The eponymous score writing program, now in its sixth incarnation, has consistently set new benchmarks in terms of usability, speed, intelligence, elegance and – especially in the last three iterations – relevance to education.
I talked to Hugh about how our visits to schools and discussions with teachers and students alike led us to develop features like Classroom Control and Versions. These features will take centre stage in the presentations on our stand at BETT over the next four days.
If you haven’t seen these features for yourself, please drop by the stand and watch one of our demos. In the meantime, check out Hugh’s article. See you at the show!
