As a new school year begins in much of the world, teachers and students alike will get the opportunity to start working with Sibelius in the classroom. The local press in Westport, Connecticut, the Westport News, has printed an article about the technology investment that has been made in local schools, including investment in Sibelius:
Aspiring young musicians and composers will be excited by a new music notation software program recently purchased by Weston schools, called Sibelius. Music teachers have already received training for how to best implement this educational program, which would allow students to compose, edit, hear and scan music.
Schools all over the world will be starting their new academic year in the next few weeks, and hopefully many of them will be adding Sibelius 6 to their technology labs. With new features like Classroom Control and Versions making it easier than ever to integrate Sibelius into the curriculum and the lab environment, there’s never been a better time to try Sibelius in your school.
