We’ll be publishing coverage from the 2026 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. The show has events running from January 20-24, 2026, and floor exhibits active from January 22 through January 24. It’s a huge exhibition, so we’ll focus on what we do best: covering the field of music notation software and related technology. Follow all of our NAMM 2026 coverage at Scoring Notes.
The NAMM Show is back again this year in Anaheim, California. This year’s show will run from January 20-24, 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center and surrounding venues. The format is the same as year, although it will be new if you haven’t attended in a while: there will be events beginning on Tuesday, January 20, but the exhibition won’t begin until Thursday, January 22, and will only run for three days, through Saturday, January 24, instead of four days, as had long been customary.
Follow along
I invite you to follow along with me as I publish a series of posts covering our niche of music notation software and related products. All of them will be tagged with “NAMM 2026”, so if you miss one, just follow this link to get up to speed.
I’ll have a mix of product coverage and interviews with representatives from the companies in our field whose products you use every day. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears tuned for all the latest news and conversations.

Catch up on last year
If you missed the NAMM 2025 coverage, there’s lots to catch up on. Check it out.
Hi Philip, I don’t see Steinberg on your booth visit list. Are they not participating in NAMM this year?
Hi Tim, thanks for noticing! Upon publishing this post I inadvertently omitted Yamaha, and immediately corrected it. Steinberg is owned by Yamaha, so I’ve edited to reflect it. Steinberg will be there and Dorico will be on display.
