With the start of a New Year comes an opportunity to make a fresh start, and we’d like to offer you such an opportunity to make a fresh start with your choice of notation software. For a limited time, you can trade up to Sibelius from Finale, Encore, Mosaic or Notion for a further 35% discount on our regular crossgrade price.¬†That means you can trade up for as little as $129 in the US, or ¬£129 in the UK.

Why switch?

If you’ve been using another notation program for months or years, why would you want to consider switching to Sibelius now? Simply put, Sibelius makes composing or arranging with music notation faster, easier and more fun than any other notation program. You should enjoy the time you spend at your computer working on your music, and if your current notation software doesn’t give you the warm and fuzzies when you sit down to use it, why not think about making the switch?

Sibelius also has many unique time-saving features that other notation software simply can’t match, including the revolutionary Magnetic Layout automatic collision avoidance system that cuts score preparation time in half.

Please check out this earlier post for more information about the unique benefits of Sibelius, or these posts about folks who’ve switched, or these quotes from Finale users who’ve already made the jump.

How does it work?

In order to qualify for the crossgrade, you must already own a copy of any version of Finale (the full Finale product, not one of its cut-down brothers and sisters such as Allegro, PrintMusic, Songwriter, Guitar or Notepad), Encore, Notion or Mosaic.

Simply order your Sibelius crossgrade from our online store or from one of our reseller partners, at the special discount price. You will receive your copy of Sibelius through the mail or by courier, and inside the shiny box you will find a form that needs to be completed and mailed in to the address printed thereon. Along with your form, you will need to send either the first two pages of the printed manual of the qualifying product, or the original program CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. Please note that we cannot return these items to you!

Once your proof of qualification has been received, you will receive your registration information by email.

You can, of course, install and start using your new copy of Sibelius as soon as you receive it, since Sibelius has a registration grace period of 15 days from installation.

What are you waiting for?

To find out more about this special offer, check out this page on the Sibelius web site. You can try before you buy by downloading the Sibelius 6 demo version (which is fully-functional, aside from the fact that it can’t save).

Tell all your friends and colleagues that there’s never been a better time to consider the switch to Sibelius. We look forward to welcoming many new users to the fold!
