If you happen to be located in the Houston area, you may be interested to know that expert Sibelius and Tapspace Virtual Drumline user Bryan Harmsen of Visaudio Designs will be holding a masterclass in the Seven Lakes High School Band Room in Katy, TX on Wednesday 7 October at 7pm. The class costs just $20 to attend, and attendees will not only get the opportunity to learn about using Sibelius and Virtual Drumline together from an expert, but will also get a special 50% discount on downloadable products from Tapspace’s online store.

If you’re interested in writing for marching band, marching percussion or drum corps, Sibelius and Virtual Drumline are the ideal combination. Thanks to close collaboration between us at Sibelius an the folks at Tapspace, basic support for all of the main instruments in VDL is included in every manuscript paper you create in Sibelius, and a detailed template file for accessing all of the incredible sounds in Virtual Drumline is available for download from the Tapspace site. For an introduction on how to use these templates with Sibelius, see Tapspace’s YouTube channel.
