Customers eligible for a complimentary upgrade to Sibelius 7.5 have reported that, beginning yesterday, Avid has begun sending e-mails to users with links and instructions to download the software.
Although the trial and paid versions of the software were available on the product launch day of February 28, users eligible for the complimentary upgrade had to wait until yesterday to officially download and register their licensed copy of Sibelius 7.5.
Users purchasing or upgrading to Sibelius 7 on or after January 23, 2014 are eligible for the complimentary upgrade to Sibelius 7.5 Users who bought the Academic Student Edition which included four years of complimentary upgrades are eligible as well.
Upon clicking the link in the e-mail, the user is taken to their Avid Account to download the upgrade.
Users experiencing any issues accessing their upgrade should contact Sibelius support directly.
I’m having difficulty getting access to Sibelius 7.5. I have never needed to create an Avid account thus my version of Sibelius 7.1 is not linked to anything. I have Sibelius 7.1 registered at https://secure.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/register/register.pl but I’m not entirely sure how to approach this so used my Avid Support Code to get some help on the issue.
I don’t remember ever having an Avid account. So how do I get the upgrade from 7.0 to 7 .5?

I did not receive the 7.5 complimentary upgrade email. I have version 7.1.3. Please send.

SIBELIUS doesn’t help.
Not sure what AVID is but that isn’t helping either….
