Monthly live Dorico sessions begin today, January 26

News

Update: Because of a technical issue on the Dorico YouTube channel referenced below, today’s session has been moved to the Steinberg YouTube channel.

Steinberg today will begin a series of Google Hangout live video sessions aimed at those wanting to learn more about how to use Dorico, its new music scoring software.

Called Discover Dorico, the sessions will be led by product specialist John Barron, who said that he’ll be “aiming to start with some of the basics of Dorico, but as the sessions progress I hope we can cover lots of different areas and styles of music.”

Today’s session starts in just a couple hours from now: 4:00 pm GMT/UK, or 11:00 am EST, and will mostly focus on frames, moving music to different pages, master pages and how to create a title page.

If you have a YouTube account, you’ll be able to comment during the session. If you can’t join live, the session will be made available online after the event. Prospective attendees are invited to e-mail questions in advance to discoverdorico@steinberg.de.

Our coverage of Dorico includes our comprehensive review along with news about its first and second updates.
